Registration FEE Assistance
Are you an HBCU/MSI staff member who has never been to the Annual HBCU Philanthropy Symposium? Would you like to attend this year’s conference, but don’t quite have the budget for the registration fee?
We are pleased to invite you to apply for a Dr. Vita Pickrum HBCU Philanthropy Symposium Founder’s Scholarship via the form below by the May 31, 2025 application deadline. This registration fee assistance fund was established in 2024 through the generous support of many donors to commemorate the founder of the annual HBCU Philanthropy Symposium, Dr. Vita Pickrum’s contributions to the HBCU community and philanthropic sector at large.
This scholarship will cover award recipients’ registration fees to attend the 2025 HBCU Philanthropy Symposium. All award recipients will be responsible for covering their own travel expenses, including lodging, airfare, meals/per diems, etc.
Scholarship Applicant Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently working at an HBCU/MSI
- Never attended the Annual HBCU Philanthropy Symposium since it was established in 2010
- Able to cover all other travel expenses
- Have an interest in the sustainability of HBCUs/MSI through philanthropy
